Anuka first contacted me to have her family portraits taken in my studio. In our conversations before and during her family photography session, we found that we had a lot in common and we became friends!
As Anuka has been growing her Hypnotherapy business we often talk about the challenges of running a business and being a mom to young children. Naturally, when it was time to have professional images for her brand and business, she reached out to me. So happy that I had the opportunity to help her in this way too!
MDP: Anuka, can you tell the world a little bit about your business?
AGA: Of course! I am a Hypnobirthing practitioner and a Hypnotherapist working in the DC metro area. I started my business at the beginning of 2018 but I have been working in Hypnobirthing for over 5 years.
MDP: What, ultimately, made you decide to reach out to me to have professional images taken for you and your business?
AGA: I moved to the Bethesda area in 2016 and I had a vision of what I wanted my company website to look like. But until I met you I had not found a photographer I could relate to and who was able to connect with me on my vision for my brand and business.
MDP: How have you used the images we created from your first session?
AGA: Not only did I use images on my website but also for my blogs, social media and even my newsletters. They are very versatile and creative.
MDP: How has having your new images made it easier to grow your personal brand and/or your business?
AGA: I think with any industry, the visual is a powerful tool and technique to convey your vision and strategy for your brand. In my case, to show my clients how I operate my services, that behind the scenes look, via photos for my website and social media, has been powerful for me.
