When talking with a potential new client, Angie, the other day, she told me that the reason she reached out to me is that she saw the work I had done for three of her friends.
What she realized was that their personalities came through, in each of their images in such a way that it captures who they are in everyday life.
Seeing the images from each of her friend’s social media and websites, she remarked on how each friend’s images were so different from each other and how the images captured each one’s personality so distinctly.
Angie pointed out how the images showcased the crazy and fun side of one friend, the classy and confident side of the second, and the more reserved and thoughtful side of the third friend.

While it’s not magic how we create images that truly emphasize each client as a unique individual, there are a few things that must come together to make a brand photoshoot truly successful.

- The shoot is planned with my clients and discussed in advance, so they begin to know me better and have a feeling of comfort with me.
- I get my clients to *almost* forget that the camera is thereby working with props, talking with me about their business, and through interactions with others during the shoot. This results in REAL expressions and REAL body language that comes across naturally in their images.
